Crowds are gathering at the picture house
The line for the movie’s running all through town
They can wait, they can wait, they can wait, for the picture to start
They can wait, they can wait, they can wait, it’s part of the fun
Telling stories that you wouldn’t believe
So confusing tell me what will it be
Take it all, take it all, take it all to the grave with you
Take it all, take it all, take it all, I wanna be brave
Simple sitting in the sunlight, looking at the shoreline, as the movie fades away
Thinking ‘bout the good times surfing on a high tide that’s pulling away
You told me your secrets just to hear how it sounds
You wanted to speak it just to hear it out loud
You’re allowed, you’re allowed, you’re allowed to make a mistake or two
You’re allowed, you’re allowed, your allowed to push me away
Simple sitting in the sunlight, looking at the shoreline, as the movie fades away
Thinking ‘bout the good times surfing on a high tide that’s pulling away
Lights are lifting at the picture houses
The movie’s over and the truth come out
Oh I will, oh I will, yes I will pay the price for it
Oh I will, oh I will, yes I will pay the price
Simple sitting in the sunlight, looking at the shoreline, as the movie fades away
Thinking ‘bout the good times surfing on a high tide that’s pulling away
Simple sitting in the sunlight, looking at the shoreline, as the movie fades away
Thinking ‘bout the good times surfing on a high tide that’s pulling away

Thanks for the beautiful music Karine and Dave. it's been a while since I've felt so emotional listening to a new album. Every lyric is so beautifully supported by the piano parts. Laura-Beth Salter
This is my first purchase from this label and it's an intriguing one, kind of the aural equivalent of a low budget but really good 70s horror movie. Weird, spooky and grimy with lots of fuzzy riffs and Sabbathesque guitar leads. Matt A
