Are you listening? Focus on my voice. You weren’t given a choice. Are you Listening? Are you suffering? In your great big concrete box. With body guards and locks. Are you suffering? We had no choice, to make it through the fire and get home safe again We had no choice, are you listening? Have you heard enough? We’re repeating ourselves. A record for the shelf? Have you heard enough? Have we seen it through? As far as it can go. The ending of the show. Have we seen it through? We had no choice, to make it through the fire and get home safe again We had no choice, are you listening? Place your hand in mine. Let’s get out of here. We’ll run no more from fear. Place your hand in mine. We had no choice, to make it through the fire and get home safe again We had no choice, are you listening?

In Time 03:00
Stop fooling child, you’ve many years before you. Many transitions to go through, nothings the same don’t you know. That most of us here, have spent the whole of our lives, desperately trying to find, our ways back in time. And letting it go, is not very hard to do. But it seems that only the few, find that they are able to. You see time rambles on, taking us all in it’s arms. Cherishing your loved ones, and letting them pass on in their own time. In their own time. In time, time, time, in their own time, in time, time, time. Of all of my friends, some faces I will see again, and some aren’t around anymore, but that is a natural law. There’ll be many more, but none like the one from before, I’ll remember his name evermore, though I’m letting his memory go and I’ll travel on. In my own time, in time. In my own time, time. In my own time, time, in my own time, in time, time. So on with the new, who’s telling what’s coming for you. Bring on the hard and the true, I shall not go looking for you even though I have half a mind to. But we’ve all got work to do, and eternity to go through, in our own time, in time. In our own time. Time. In time, time. In our own time, time. In time, time, time, time.

These Hours 02:35
Ring on my doorbell, I know it’s you I recognise your shoes. Come in from the cold outside, the kettle’s on I know what you like, I put the milk on the side. As long as we have these hours, we will face our ups and downs. We might go for a walk, I’ll make you laugh with stories I tell, Sometimes we cry, I don’t know why. As long as we have these hours, we will face life’s ups and downs. And if you ever forget you’re an angel, that’s what I’m here for, I will remind you, that you are loved. Maybe one day you’ll find that you don’t need me anymore, But if you do, I’m on your side. As long as we’ve had these hours, where we faced our ups and downs. And I’m so grateful for these hours, where we faced life’s ups and downs.

The Presence 04:34
I sit here, centre stage. The audience, my call awaits. The lights are low, there’s no-one here. Empty seats do not give ear. Out the door, I peak into what is not yet known. I sit on the edge, and feel the presence. To give away everything I own and to seek nothing but the presence. Empty and vast it awaits me in the woods. Beyond the word, beyond the good. A little secret I will tell you, as you gaze as the presence, it stares back at you. Out the door, I peak into what is not yet known. I sit on the edge, and feel the presence. To give away everything I own and to seek nothing but the presence. There’s space in front, so vast, so full. And I watch reserved from a stage uneventful. So timely now to appear, the closing bow, the end is near. Out the door, I peak into what is not yet known. I sit on the edge, and feel the presence. To give away everything I own and to seek nothing but the presence.

Wandering through the land came a long forgotten man, As tall as he was weary, with a hammer in his hand, He'd spent years fighting treachery among his brothers from the same country, He said the world is built on castles in the sand. A woman he'd had feelings for had left him several years before, He was tired of the pain that so often comes with age, With his burning lips and aching hands he cast aside his world's demands, And he took me by the hand and slowly said. Jenny, Jenny, would you write me a song? Coz it's been years since I've felt at home, or where I could belong, And I haven't met a single man who would put down his guns, So, Jenny, would you write me a song? David, David here I wrote you a song, His daughters he'd had one or two, they left before he really knew them. People seemed to fade before him, either that or just ignore him, Fame and fortune came his way, and the plagues that followed in it's wake, And sighing now, he asked me once again: Jenny, Jenny, would you write me a song? Coz it's been years since I've felt at home, or where I could belong, And I haven't met a single man who would put down his guns, So, Jenny, would you write me a song? David, David here I wrote you a song, His eyes were clear, his face was kind, there was no fear upon his mind, There's nothing you can take you see from a man already gone, No sorrow at what's gone before, or terror at what could befall, And smiling now, he asked me once more: Jenny, Jenny, would you write me a song? Coz it's been years since I've felt at home, or where I could belong, And I haven't met a single man who would put down his guns, So, Jenny, would you write me a song? David, David here I wrote you a song, Coz it's been years since I've felt at home, or where I could belong, And no I didn't meet a single man who would put down his guns, So David here I wrote you a song. David I have written you a song. David here I wrote you a song.

Best Of You 03:39
Don’t give yourself away to someone who doesn’t like you Don’t work your soul away ‘cause someday it might come in use And I pray that you see the light that I see in your mind when you’re at ease I will wait for the time when it’s right to invite you to unwind with me I want you to feel, I want you to be, the best of you So, don’t judge quickly, take the time to understand Don’t give in to prejudice, we are all one of a kind We’ve been tested by life just to find that inside we are like one another It’s a shame that you feel that my feelings aren’t real when you cry on my shoulder So, don’t push us around in life if you want someone by your side You can’t keep us around if you try to hide my little light I want you to feel, I want you to be, the best of you So, don’t hide yourself away, there’s a light inside of you Don’t believe what people say, they are not in touch with the truth You worked hard all your life you have earned the right to relax and feel at home I will not take away from the beauty and grace that is yours, and yours alone I want you to feel, I want you to be, the best of you

After 03:45
I sit here in this empty mind. In the far left corner, my knees held to my chin. Moving further away from reality, I open up and let it in. Stay close, go far, I don't want to let this hurt you. Be free and let go, you can't come with me. Purple clouds and rainbow skies. This colourless place, free of time. Let the shadows coming rolling on by. And feel the power running deeply. You're surfacely there and we'll go our separate ways together. Adrift among somethingness I'll see you after. You can find me by the tree, So far away, but still within reach. Come in, and welcome too... And remember what you once knew.

This is not my home, I haven’t been here all that long, But in a sea of change I might as well find a truth to tell, In this house that doesn’t belong to me. The truth is that I have nothing relatable to say, You see my life has taken a little turn for the strange, And I seem to disagree with almost everyone I meet, And I doubt they’ll ever see the angels that are walking next to me. And the truth is I’m so frightening that I frighten myself too, I don’t know who I am and I don’t know what to do, A lot of the time I find it hard to tell the false from the true, And I don’t know if I’ll ever stop thinking about you. So bring it down, bring it down, bring your love to me, Bring it down where I am, bring your love to me, Bring it down, bring it down, bring your love to me, Bring it down, bring it down, bring your love to me. Do I trust that maybe someday life will find a way, To open up my heart and help me see the things I can;t, To show me our connection, the fabric of relationship, We have all been a fool, turn by turn we win and lose. And there’s nothing wrong with losing, seems it’s my turn now, So don’t tempt me with your offerings I won’t buy what you’re selling, Though I must admit I feel afraid of what you might be threatening, But I won’t break my heart my heart for anyone or anything. So bring it down, bring it down, bring your love to me, Bring it down where I am, bring your love to me, Come on down, and bring it down, bring your love to me, Bring it down, bring it down, down… Stop asking for things in return, Stop being so hard of heart, Stop pretending you’re not my concern, Opening up is not so hard. Why are we so concerned, why are we afraid, Why’s it so hard to let go, don’t you know the world’s a stage? To witness our performances, our hello’s and goodbye’s, All our meetings and greetings, however fleeting they pass by. So bring it down, bring it down, bring your love to me, Bring it down where I am, bring your love to me, Come on down, and bring it down, bring your love to me, Bring it down, bring it down, down… I’m saying no to something with no hope of returning, I will get what I’m given and even so I still refuse, I am jumping in the deep end, and throwing myself away, For a chance at a chance, at chance, at a chance, to change.

Come comfort me love in the dark of my life Closed to the word and closed to light Broken and bare I sing Come comfort me love in the dark of my mind Graveyards of thought and ending of time But still I see his golden and perfect face His perfect face I have a little falling star I’d rather not think about I have a little aching heart I’d rather not think about Stay with me stay within my dream Come comfort me love in the death of my heart Walls closing in and tearing apart But still I see her golden and perfect face, Her perfect face, beaming with grace I have a little falling star I’d rather not think about I have a little aching heart I’d rather not think about Stay with me stay within my dream Come comfort me love in the end of my days Burning with love and blinded by grace But still I see your golden and perfect face, Your perfect face, beaming with grace.

Wash It Away 04:25
I am getting older, and time is moving faster, so soon I will meet my dying day. The man who has kissed me, and our years of history, the unknown and the mystery’s going to wash it all away. He isn’t mine to keep, and neither mine to seek, let the whole thing go and wash it all away. Like the river in its path, moving slow or rushing fast, choicelessly my past will be washed away. Like a flower that blooms once, in life’s enormous dace we will be washed away. And once is all that’s needed on this joyus earth we’re breeded and then washed away. I am getting older, and time is moving faster, so soon I will meet my dying day. I give thanks for what was taken, apologies for what’s broken, take comfort friend we both shall meet so soon our dying day. Like a flower that blooms once, in life’s enormous dace we will be washed away. And once is all that’s needed on this joyus earth we’re breeded and then washed away. Take comfort friend we both shall meet so soon our dying day. We won’t bear our losses, but neither do we keep our gains. Like a flower that bloomed once, in life’s enormous dance you were washed away. And once was all that’s needed on this joyus earth was breeded and then washed away. Take comfort friend we both shall meet so soon our dying day. We won’t bear our losses, but neither do we keep our gains.

Hallelujah 04:55
I've heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? Well it goes like this The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya She tied you to her kitchen chair And she broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah Baby I've been here before I've seen this room and I've walked this floor You know, I used to live alone before I knew ya And I've seen your flag on the marble arch But love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah There was a time when you let me know What's really going on below But now you never show that to me do ya And remember when I moved in you The holy dove was moving too And every breath we drew was Hallelujah Hallelujah Maybe there's a God above But all I've ever learned from love Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya And it's not a cry that you hear at night It's not somebody who's seen the light It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
